The Front of Screamers' Haunted Cabin.
Faces of Death Hallway.
Darrell Wilkerson of Screamers Haunted Creations presents his promotional prototype haunted attraction
Screamers Haunted Cabin.

While the cabin isn't a full blown haunted house, don't assume it took any less work to create. Wilkerson started
planning for this cabin in April with building starting in July. Taking 300 hours to complete, Wilkerson was a
one-man crew having only the help of one other engineer on just one part of his cabin.  Wilkerson spent
between $7,000 and $8,000 on his entire house. His stunning hall featuring the dead faces of those murdered
by the insane inhabitants of the cabin.

Wilkerson's inspiration for his cabin comes from things that would creep him out, like ghosts, since his mom used
to tell him ghost stories when he was younger. Wilkerson wants his cabin to be something different and achieves
this through a trial and error process. He likes the idea that people can see one style of haunting in other
haunted houses (which feature the classic horror movies along with the original stuff) and then a different style in
his cabin which is full of original designs coming straight from Wilkerson's imagination.

Wilkerson could never afford to attend special schools, so all of his skills are completely self-taught. Most of his
experience comes from a time when he used to create haunted garages for neighborhood kids. Despite being an
artist who is coming out of the closet, Wilkerson has managed to get six or seven sponsors, two of which are
Wilkerson Automation and Bryant Control Systems.

When asked what his plans are for the future now that he has gotten a shot at showing Indy what he is capable
of, Wilkerson responded, "I want to be the baddest haunted house on the block-I want to entertain, have fun and
scare people." He also hinted that next year his attraction is going to be bigger becoming a stand alone, full out
haunted attraction in itself.
