2007 Reviews
Ohio Valley Haunts                                                     8 out of a possible 10

"We officially kicked off the 2007 Halloween season on Friday, September 7th with a visit to SCREAMERS in
Indianapolis, IN.

Scary music welcomes you inside the old farmhouse that is the Screamers Haunted House.  The demented
family that calls this place home has something quite unusual in store for all who dare to visit."

"Final Score:  8, Plenty of traditional scares delivered in a well constructed environment.  Lots of hard work, and
hand crafted talent on display here.  Only in their second year at the current location, we're expecting much
more in years to come as Screamers continues to grow.   This is one you don't want to miss!  Pay them a visit
for a frightfully good time!"

When I got my choice of haunted houses to review this year, I was happy to learn that my draft pick, Screamers,
was available.  The attraction is up year-round, allowing them to tinker with it endlessly.  The “Haunted Farmhouse”
contains no standard movie monsters. Watch for the bathroom with the bubbling sink and blood dripping from a
victim, and the Dollhouse scene. Take note of the custom-built Wall of Heads — you won’t see this anywhere else.
A pioneer for originality and creativity, Screamers truly lives up to its name; visitors will scream from both fright and
delight when walking through this haunted house!

Decoration  -  Majority of the materials that is found in there is custom-made which I think is clever.  It makes it
*anti-commercial like* which makes it more traditional and a classic which you can't find similar to the other
haunted houses. It is laid out very nicely where you can walk through without tripping. The white room is very
clever because you don't tend to find a lot of bright colored rooms in haunted houses,  other than 3D haunted
houses. The actor/actress was all white so you have to figure where are they or you miss it. I doubt you will miss it
because they will come after you!

Scary -  HELL YES! I am the person that don't get frighten easily and tends to laugh throughout the whole haunted
house. I did get scared by the children actors in there when I thought it was a dummy! Well done! I didn't pee or
crap my pants but still you have full 5 star rating! I love the doll house theme where I try to figure out which one will
jump out.

Duration -  The pace was good but a little short on time. Throughout, there are good stopping places instead of
running through... You gotta have run away paths for the wimps to run... *LAUGH*

Accessible -  No problem at all! I think it is wheelchair accessible approved. There might be a rough turn at a few
spots but you will get through just fine.

Overall  -   From all the haunted houses I have been to from my young days to now, I think this is one of the top 3
favorite haunted houses. I don't get frightened easily. This one was good. I think it is better than ordinary haunted
houses because it is different and unique. Well done guys! You done scary well!
